Color Temperature Chart
80W Induction vs. 150W HPS
RTG Lighting's induction lamps have a CRI of 80 or more depending on the model & color temperature.
When the color temperatures of our induction lamps are in the range of 4100K, the color rendering index (CRI) is close to or slightly above 90. This high CRI makes objects look bright, clear and natural under RTG Lighting's induction lamps.

Induction Lighting-Technology Overview
Induction Lighting is a proven technology that has been around for over 100 years. The principle of electromagnetic induction was introduced to the world by Nikola Tesla in the 1890's.
The RTG Lighting, Inc. Induction lamp is a highly efficient electrode-less fluorescent lamp that works in much the same way as fluorescent but, instead of electrodes, which are failure points and wear out, a frequency generator energizes an external magnetic field. This in turn excites a gas filled vacuum tube, and as it passes through the phosphor in the tube it creates a high quality visible light.
